This place is LEGIT. It’s also a certified hole in the wall – but that’s what makes it awesome.

Located in the middle of nowhere.  Like – we thought our GPS was taking us to a pasture far far away – middle of nowhere.  This joint has been on many BEST OF lists.  I can see why.

This really is the best burger I have eaten. The onion rings and fried mushrooms are to die for. Went there on our way to Fredericksburg and stopped in on our way home. I highly recommend making a point of visiting Alamo Springs Cafe if you are in the Fredericksburg, TX area

Goat cheese crumbles and roasted garlic with toasted baguette

Best burger in Texas!! Beautiful location. The goat cheese and roasted garlic is to die for. My all time favorite appetizer! - Kayla K, San Antonio, TX

Enjoyed a gorgeous drive from Austin out to the Hill Country to try one of Texas Monthly’s Best Burgers- It did not disappoint! Absolutely one of the most satisfying and delicious burgers I have ever had! Brian and his staff could not have been more friendly. The views in Old Tunnel State park are fantastic as well. I am already planning my next visit!
